“Every story has a beginning, and every relationship has a story….”

Yes, married for a year already.
Year one was about adjustment. From saying, “I used to do this…,” or “I did it like this” to “WE can do it like this.” It was assimilating into each other’s lives, filling the gaps, and learning about everything we used to do by ourselves because that’s what we were used to.
Every story has a beginning. And every relationship has their story. Mine and Ben’s happened to start later in life, but still deserves a good place in the comics section. (And maybe even the comedy section too)
But, yes, comics, I felt drawn to parallels quite often seen in the boys and my favorite comics. In these observations, I see the goodness of God all over them. The part where I became Lois Lane, that girl in distress who had physical limitations for her current circumstances. But, God loves a good story and a good ending because He changed the trajectory. ::Enters Ben into the scene:: He became one of the most constant things in my life. The best husband. The best step-dad to the boys, patient even when teenage boys act like teenagers. Best of all, I saw all the hardship he went through and he came out compassionate, caring, considerate, positive, and smiling. That is Superman in my book.
I mean it’s always been about heroes, villains, and the fight over good and evil, right? I am blessed that God would make it so uniquely for us. He sent Christ to die on the cross for us as the ultimate hero, I also see that He sent me another great hero in my lifetime. I am blessed!
Happy 1st Anniversary, to being married to Ben and being married into Ben’s wonderful family!❤️
