Returning home

Thank you everyone for your prayers, love, support and generosity!

We had many tests and evaluations done during our doctor’s appointments, and Dr. Wong believes Jonathan is a good candidate for clinical trials. So in returning home we will be working towards meeting eligibility requirements for some new clinical trials. Which is just to make sure all his vitals, blood work and overall health is up to par in preparation for his new medication, upcoming surgery and clinical trials next year.

We are requested to be seen by Dr. Wong again in 9 months to monitor medication impact to his body and further testing that could not be completed this last week. Anyhow….

I am still learning to navigate DMD care and medical expenses needed to keep us going, and I want to say thank you to everyone who is donating and a big thank you to TeamJoseph.org for providing aid for our travel and hotel expenses while seeking care for Jonathan. We’ve touched just a tip of the iceberg for DMD and medical needs, so it was a blessing to see Dr. Wong a renown doctor in research and care for patients with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Thanks again!
